11 months agoWonderful Indian food in Nairobi. Seemed to be quite authentic in flavor. The portions were just right in my opinion. I'd go back again when I'm in Nairobi.

a year agoService was excellent. Location is convenient. Setting is beautiful. I had a seat by the window looking out to the street and liked that the restaurant was especially quiet when I went (5pm on a Tuesday). But the dishes I ordered were just so-so. The garlic wings didn't really taste garlicky but had some other salty taste with red food coloring that was a little off putting. The chilly paneer was not as crispy or sticky as I have tasted elsewhere. The tandoori paratha was ok but a little too thick. I won't order the same dishes if I go back.

2 years agoI had a lovely time at Open House, Karen. It's located inside crossrads mall. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The meal wait time was quite short around 10 minutes or so. I really loved their naan bread. We had chicken and mutton. Their portions are well sized and filling.

a year agoGreat experience, awesome service. We had the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala with naan and steamed rice. Very tasty. Beware: Spice level hot is HOT!

4 years agoOpen House Karen is a really good Indian restaurant located in the Karen area, a bit far from the city center. The restaurant has a menu which offers a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options for a full course meal. The food here is really delicious and I would suggest trying the paneer starters for vegetarian options. The seating arrangement is also good. The pricing is decent but not cheap, mid range. Overall a very good experience
