Thoroughly enjoyed the Tilapia dipped in coconut sauce. Derrick was of great service I must say.👏 If you prefer an outdoor seating there's a nicely lit serene small garden shared amongst all the food and drink courts. Their brown is ugali, wild mushrooms and matumbo fry are quite sth too.

Authentic traditional Kenyan food. The restaurant staff are pleasant and the best part is the variety of dishes that are served. Waiting time is about 10-20 minutes, depending on your order. Highly recommended

I had a very bad experience here when taking my mom for lunch. They asked us to move tables to favour a big group that came in. There were no chairs outside where they sent us and left me and my elderly mom standing to wait for other customers to leave! Worst of all is I tried contacting the owner to tell her and she refused to respond to either call or SMS. Bad experience I don't recommend them.

We also offer an array of precooked kienyeji vegetables which have been carefully plucked, washed and boiled to offer you convenience. The vegetables are organically grown and harvested under natural conditions. At Kienyeji’s, we believe that food is medicine. Inspired by the way our grandparents cooked their food and lived subsequently long lives free from lifestyle diseases, we seek to promote healthy lifestyles by bringing back forgotten foods.
